Special course 1: sports

This module includes 11 training units (1 day) with theory and practice elements of the K-Active Taping.

In theory you learn everything you need to know about the most frequent sports injuries.

In the practical part you will learn the tape techniques to supply these injuries with K-Active Tape classic as well as with the innovative K-Active Tape PreCuts.

Theoretical part

• deepening of the anatomic knowledge of joints
• presentation of the underlying the course of events concerning injuries partly with video sequences
• acute care of the most frequent sports injuries
• explanation of several healing phases
• repetition of the tape techniques required for the supply

Practical part

• presentation of the most frequent injuries of each joint
• repetition of the most important tape techniques
• learning and practising the special tape applications for treating sports injuries
• application of K-Active Tape classic
• for selected injuries demonstration of the advanced treatment possibilities by means of the K-Active Tape PreCuts
• combination of several applications
• development of ideas for the procedure to work independently and individually with the Tape including examination

Special course 2:spine / ISG

This module includes 7 training units (0,5 days) with theory and practice elements of the K-Active Taping.

The theory allows you new views on function and dysfunction of the spine in consideration of approaches from the osteopathy, the Anatomy Trains by Thomas W. Myers as well as the body-balloon-theory as a possibility for “Body Reading”

In the practical part these ideas of the Body Reading will be trained jointly on special cases of illness as well as the development of individual tape applications.

In practice approved applications for specified indicators will be demonstrated and trained.

Special course 3: lymphology

This module includes 7 training units (0,5 days) with theory and practice elements of the K-Active Taping.

In the theoretical part you receive the most important information about the human lymphatic system and you learn how to influence positively the lymphatic drainagekn by means of K-Active Taping

You will acquire knowledge regarding the wound healing phases as a precondition for a sufficient scar treatment. You get to know the possibilities to influence scars by means of the K-Active Tape.

Special course 4: gynaecology

This module includes 7 training units (0,5 days) with theory and practice elements of the K-Active Taping.

In the theoretical part you will be made familiar with the most important tape techniques in this field. You will learn which gynaecological diseases and symptoms are suited for a treatment with K-Active Taping.

The practical part enables you to develop your own ideas to work independently with the tape including new examination possibilities and to implement them practically.

Approved applications for the most common indications will be demonstrated and trained.

Theoretical part

• explanations of frequently arising gynaecologic diseases, that can be influenced by the K-Active Tape
• presentation of common problems in pregnancy and the possible improvements due to the usage of the K-Active Tape
• illustration of the tape techniques and their impacts
• clarification of the wound healing phases and the scar formation
• possibilities to treat the scars by means of several tape techniques

Practical part

• learning of the tape techniques required
• imparting of the treatment procedure in practice based on selected symptoms
• training of different tape applications
• explanation and demonstration of using K-Active Tape PreCuts during and after pregnancy
