Unfortunately the position doesn’t reflect the team’s true talent. They merely had to lose only two games.the First  against the official world champion  from the Netherlands and the second against Portugal. 

“Even if the positioning is not what they had hoped for, it should still be considered a respectable result. The team had an extensive period of preparation followed by two weeks of “games/ competition” which were both physically and mentally exhausting. The players however kept up their typically German moral and willingness to perform despite the devastating defeat during the final game against Portugal. Even with the physically straining training most players stayed uninjured not the least due to the contribution of the medical team.

Tobias Kehlenbach and Dominik Werthmann supported the team during the training and managed to maintain the player’s health and fitness with the help of K-Active and the Blackroll Orange The German Korfballnationalteam would like to thank “K-Active Europe” for the long lasting and consistent support.

In particular the „medical personnel“ made a big rush to the K-active stand to learn more about the innovative quality products. The international instructors exchanged information and “talked shop” with the visitors.

With diverse tapingshows the instructors demonstrated different applications and treated the numerous audience on problem zones. The K-active tape is seen as the ultimate therapy tool, which can be used as preventative therapy and to reduce pain to improve the mobility.

K-Active Tapingshow

The focus of the training focused on the question of optimal diagnosis and treatment of muscular injuries in sports.
In addition to the guest of honor Heike Drechsler refereed notable individuals such as Prof Dr Steinbrueck, Prof. Dr. Huonka, Prof. Dr. Niess, Prof. Dr. Gollhofer, Dr. Best (team doctor from VFB Stuttgart) as well as K-Active Head Instructor Siegfried Breitenbach. His topic was the acute care for injuries and the overall K-Active subsequent treatment strategies.

After the interesting presentations, the participants had the opportunity to expand in the afternoon workshops active in their knowledge. The K-Active team took on the task, over 130 participants in one of the workshops to teach basic theory, but above all, the first practical experiences in the K-Active Taping. The great interest in this workshop shows how this issue is currently in the field of training and therapy.

K-Active is pleased to have been invited to attend this important event, and many participants were particularly impressed by this great method to have.

The connection between the latest scientific research findings and their meaningful implementation in everyday clinical practice it is, as a practicing Rolfing therapist's heart. In the holistic approach and unique philosophy behind the K-active therapy, there is great synergy with his own thoughts and research findings.

In the first step Schleip Dr. and his staff in the K-Active Taping will be trained, conversely, the entire team of instructors latest knowledge obtained from the Fascia.

Because of this future close cooperation is now available on DVD with the hands-on "Fascial Fitness" at K-Active and directly in the online shop. This DVD is an innovative training from Dr. hum. biol. Robert Schleip presented. Will be taught specific exercises that are used to build a powerful connective tissue supple again. In future, more joint events are planned, including K-Active has received an invitation to attend the Summer School 2012 at the University of Ulm, where renowned international speakers will hold for a week lectures or preparations to deepen the knowledge about the importance of this complex system, "fascia" . Many runners took the opportunity to view up to
Treat symptoms and to allow taping. In addition to the K-Active team of instructors and physicians and therapists of practices from the Frankfurt area were present to support K-Active actively.

Of course, many athletes were problems in the legs at the center, but there were also treated the back pain, temporomandibular joints and other body parts and glued. Some nervous runner / interior were very grateful for the donation of the K-Active team to go a little more relaxed on the 42 km route.

All "patients" had the opportunity to thank them with a donation. Sun came together around 1,000 EUR, the rainbow of the station, a children's cancer ward at the University of Wuerzburg benefit.

The activation of the tissue is effectively combined by using the push waves and the circulatory and pain-alleviating effects of the K-Active Taping. In addition, the DTB with Philip Boy turned up this year's silver medalist in the all around. In the women's Oksana Chusovitina also enjoyed a jump in Silbermedalie finals. Fabian Hambuechen finished in fourth place after his injury on the high bar.

"Even if the fourth place is always a bit ungrateful, I'm still glad to be back. I've been a good exercise, that was the important thing. Better now fourth as next year in London," the Wetzlar said against the Germans Gymnastics Federation.

About 40 participants from various European and non European countries met for the optimization and further development of the course system, to promote the knowledge and ideas and to socialize within the group.

This training camp was led by head coach Daniel Limburg, to prepare the athletes for their disciplines 400 m and the decathlon.

So prevailed also at the booth of K-Active a great buzz and the team could carry many conversations with therapists from many countries, showed an interest in K-Active Taping or are already trained and wanted to deepen their knowledge.

Especially in the center of many discussions focused on the large differences in quality of many providers. Here K-Active can be one of the few suppliers in the many years of manufacturing experience and by the German TÜV certified production processes by the manufacturer Nitto Denko Corp. that point what should be important for a good therapist.

Of course was also busy taped to the "newbies" to show the effect on your body and thus eliminate any remaining doubts about this approach.

Weltkongress der Physiotherapie in Amsterdam

The students from countries like China, America, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Israel, Cyprus and Iran was very satisfied with the course and the K-Active team. Many recognised very quick the big possibility to help effective their future patients with the K-Active taping.

Already after the basic course the students could take this know-how in their homecountries to expand the K-Active Taping Method.

For K-Active it was the first time being in Essen and beside the medical field we could establish many new contacts from most different areas in the field of fitness. An increasing number of sportsmen and trainers recognize diverse possibilities of the method of K-Active taping in prophylaxis as well as in the rehabilitation phase after injuries and operations.

Especially our 14 different forms of application, called K-Active “PreCut”, were the focus in many presentations at our booth. Also the advantages of K-Active tapes have been shown in demonstrations in Tae Bo on stage by the experienced instructor, Mrs. Stephanie Lutrelli (advanced instructor).

In addition many actors of other fair stands have been successfully treated with K-Active tapes after overloading and injuries so that they could continue their shows and be active again.  

K-Active is glad being part of an other field in the preservation of health in the future and to contribute actively to the health promotion and prevention.

FiBo 2011 - K-Active Taping beim TaeBo

K-Active is glad, has been involved with the “mission rising up” and congratulates the team and the trainer, as well Dr. Jochen Hahne and the pyhiotherapist Matthias Schmitt for the great results. We are curious what will do the Bavarian President Ulli Hoeneß, to keep up with the highest basketball league in the tip region and to make Munich, not only in soccer, to one of main cities of basketball.

K-Active is looking forward to support the basketball team of FC Bayern München e.V. with our know-how and products in the next coming season again.

It was amazing how this young team played a refreshing and heart-warming soccer allover the season, to become the number one in the end.

Congratulations also to our sales partner Klaus Kraft, who runs a business, called “Rehazentrum Ortomed” near the stadium of Dortmund, beside his main business at the medical shop Klaus Kraft. With his know-how and the K-Active tapes he supplies the medical staff of the soccer team “Borussia Dortmund”.

Beside the many instructors from Europe, this year also participants from Iran and Kenya came. Exactly this international team of doctors and therapists makes the development round about K-Active alife.

So the new workshops in the area lymphology and scars as well as gynecology were increasingly offered in the next month. The sports course was extended by other contents and will be educated as a day course in the future.

Beside of this refresher courses should be increasingly offered in the future, to put the Medical Staff, who made the course some years before, on the actually stand of the K-Active Tape again.

Additional efforts should be taken reinforced in the area of scientific support of the K-Active method. The instructors will take more casestudies and smaller studies and K-Active will support more bachelor works and university studies.

The Medical Staff was especially from Germany, but there were also some collegues from our neighbour countries like Poland and the Czech Republic.

Like often a lot of new and even known customers visited the booth of K-Active. Many questions could be answered and explained in detail there about our training system, but also about different products. Of course some Tapes were applicated because the long sitting and the concentraded listening to the speakers of the congress lead to pain and problems by some visitors.

We are also very proud to hear, that physiotherapists and doctors report positive about the K-Active Tape, even if they have tested meanwhile the produkts of competitors, but they can't compete qualitativly with the quality product K-Active Tape and because of this they returned to K-Active Tape.

During the four days over 500 international attendees participate in the well organised and on a very high scientivic level congress.

From 4. April until 10. April 2011 the 4. Athlectic European Championship will be in Berlin, after a change in the year of 2005. Under the auspices of the Chancellor Angela Merkel, 281 participants from 39 countries will take place at these contests.

1. Mr. Ostermeier last year you attended different top beach volleyball teams during competitions and the Grand Slams. What is so special for you to work in this type of sport?

It is so special for me because for this sport so many components of training therapies are very important. On this account not only the hit and the jumping power decide on the result of the game but also the power endurance, coordination, the understanding of the game and the tactic play a roll. More over there are in 95 % of the cases no declinations due to theweather so that heat, chillness, rain and/or wind could be added as additional stress factor and that while three matches per day. This opens up for my activity a broad andinteresting therapeutic spectrum which span preparative therapies  Medical Time Out during the match as well as measures of regeneration. The prophylaxis and the treatment of injuries play a very important roll.

2. What are the main problems of beach volleyballplayers?

In principle you can divide these in four main injuries. There are especially a varied of injuries on the finger (especially if they block), overload syndromes in the shoulder (mostly the hand which hit the ball), overloads and injuries in the knee joint (jumps and fast change of direction) and also traumas in the ankle joint (twist one’s ankle or in contact with the oponent).

3. Which kind of therapies is used for prophylaxis of injuries?

For prophylaxis of injuries I often work with the tapes of K-Active to remove some weak points or to strengthen the muscle with acertain input. Stabilizing tape is only used in case of injuries of the finger joint or the ankle joint. In addition to the prophylaxis of the injuries,  a mucles activating massage technique is used or is used in connection with stretching.

4. Which kind of therapies are used in treatment of injuries?

In the treatment of injuries you have to differentiate two possibilities: In the case of an injury during the match, a five-minute Medical Time Out is available for the therapist to make his diagnosis and to take an immediate measure that the player - has the possibility to finish the match – if he is able to do that.  In this case many measures which are known from the sports physical therapy like CoolGel , compression bandages, tapes etc are used. K-Active Tapes and massage techniques or the severance of WS-blockades find also approval.

The after-treatment of injuries is based on the symptoms of each patient. On this account a lot of massage techniques are used. I, personally, try to combine these techniques with techniques of the manual therapy or the PNF. If exists, electro therapy is also used. Furthermore if somebody has an acute injury we work with the PECH rule maybe in connection with lymph drainage or lymph tapes.  If there is a competition which takes one week I try to put the K-Active Tapes the evening before to prevent accident causes.

5. What status has the K-Active Tapes for the therapy?

From the therapeutic view, K-Active has for me and many of my colleges a high status. On this account I use the K-Active Tapes very often to prevent possible injuries, as I said, and to take care of muscular overload and to support the muscle but also to stabilize the ligaments or to take care of the joints. I think the question which status the K-Active Tapeshas for the players should they answer by themselves.

6. Which status has the K-Active Tapes for you as aprofessional beach volleyball player?

Markéta Sluková (CZE): K-Active Tape seems to be important especially for mental support. Spots which are taped feel much more stable, fixed and the tape gives you confidence in amovement.

Together with our partner MARmed e. K. K-Active was one of the four experts invited to present additional options for pain management. Our instructor, Dr. Ulrike Aussem spoke in her lecture about the usage of Kinesiology Tapes in orthopedic pain therapy and subsequently held four workshops for interested colleagues to introduce the tape and the associated variety of ways.

Many of the attending orthopedics were impressed by the various possible applications which had been demonstrated personally for some of them. The immediate success was very impressive. K-Active Tape PreCut were particularly interesting - they are exclusively available in Europe only through the distribution network of K-Active .

But there was also a big rush from the Medical Staff who could talk and „talk shop“ with the international experienced team of K-Active beside infomation of training courses and products.

In the center was inparticular the new K-Active representation of the K-Active Tape Gentle which was  developed with a special adhesive technology for sensitive skin beside the innovative Tape PreCuts which can put on directly as pre-cut applications.

There was a strong appeal from new partners who heard from the high quality of products on the market and who want to add them in their range. In this way K-Active could expand his world wide network of retailer .

The national coach of the German wrestling federation Jannis Zamanduridis visited also the booth of K-Active to report about the excellent results of the cooperation between the "Deutsche Ringer-Bund e. V." and K-Active and to thank for that support.

A highlight was the fashion show by Kristina Willann who combine modern fashion with K-Active products and present some clothes.

During the Medica 2010, the K-Active team was support by managers of the producer Nitto Denko Corp. (Japan) and the marketing boss of Spider Tech Inc. (Canada)

After the start of the 12 400 runners many visitors of the Commerzbank marathon used the possibility to inform themselves about K-Active Taping or to be treat or taped if needed by three doctors and four physiotherapists.

Prominent guests were for example Nicole and Lothar Leder (Triathlon), who let some of the sportsmen out of their runners group treated by Siegfried Breitenbach, who is the therapist of the German National Triathlon Team.

Furthermore, Dieter Baumann, the former Olympic and world champion on the middle distance, was treated by Dr. Ulrike Aussem to be fit to comment the marathon competition on the next day.

Whether at the Youth World Cup in the Netherlands or the EuroCup,  "colorful stripes" found the way into the competitive sports. Optimize the performance of players in one, prevent injury and minimize existing mobility limitations. Even under extreme conditions of 90% humidity and 40 degrees at the U 23 World Cup in Taiwan konnta make the K-Active Tape successfully proven its quality.

Since March 2010 and with the K-Active support for the senior team, they have been acted successfully with the K-Active Tape in the European Championships in the Netherlands in the end of October 2010 .

The next international instructor meeting is scheduled to April 2011.

On three days the most important lines of Myofascialen Meridiane, as discribed in the Anatomy trains, were dicussed and showed partly spectacular anatomical connections and presentations. And also the Bodyreading which is an extremely effective tool of diagnostics, was dicussed and trained on practical examples. The partly quick effect of the manual therapeutical influence by the myofascial treatment could be shown with the help of the exercises.

The basic ideas which are behind „Anatomy trains“ and which follow the Muyofascial System and its complex connections, excellent fit  to the mindset of the holistic therapeutic approach of K-Active Taping.  For the coming period, further courses for instructors and K-Active Taper are planned to deepen the knowledge of the Myofasical connections of bodies with the teaching team of Thomas Myers .

In it, the experienced and active in professional sports physiotherapist reports impressively  the various sports injuries and treatment by K-Active Tape NAWA and salves.

It confirms the fact of the example Sebastian Kienle (camber in Kraichgau 2010) and Melanie High Nets (fall July 2010) that within a few days and because of the ongoing K-Active therapy the state improved so that a deployment was possible again after a few days .

The legend lives: In the beginning of September about 500 runners from 25 countries, take part in one of the toughest running events in the world - the Alps Cross. In eight days, two teams have to travel 305 km and 13,500 meters. The route takes it over up to 3,000 meters high mountain passes and through beautiful valleys across reconsider Alpine Ridge and, like every year, squeeze all the participants.

The team,  for the well none physiotherapist Lissi Pohlhammer in the runners and bikers scene,  will care prophylactic and intensely regenerative in case of overloading or injury of the athletes. For that are used the Kinesiology Tapes K-Active Tape Classic (role) and the so-called K-Active Tape PreCut (pre-cut systems). Improvement of circulation, pain reduction and reduction of muscle tension include the effects of this extraordinary tapes without movement options and without having any negative influence to the body feeling of the runner .

Over two days, the triathletes were offered to seek preventative taping or residual symptoms. The crowd was very large, but patience proved the athletes, when they saw that each individually investigated, advised and was then taped. For the first time the new K-Active Tape Precut s were used at the 9th Ostseeman, but also the individual applications of the tape was a new experience for many participants of the race.

Already after the competition the K-Active team received many positive feedbacks. Especially in the sport of triathlon with the subregions swimming, cycling and walking is made of a material very high standards. The participants could have found that the created applications using the K-Active tape very well kept and in many cases, a reduction of pain or freedom-led, or in some even contributed to a better performance.

K-Active is pleased about the positive feedback from the athletes and thanks again the team of the Deaconess Hospital under the direction of Maria Hasenstab and Sibylle Gutsche for their strong commitment for the competitors.
 

Sebastian has mananged the international top field for a long time , then he had to leave the field at the end of the marathon only because of the experienced Henning Rassmus from Denmark. 

It is especially worth to mention that Sebastian had fallen a few weeks before at the Challange in Kraichgau and came down with some bigger abrasions. By the intensive work of Brigitta Schmailzl who used a lot of K-Active tape and Nawa products he could finish very fast again his intensive training unities and bring himself in peak form before Roth. As it was the first long distance for Sebastian, we assume, that he will provide us with some surprises in future.

This course in Hammamed was a cooperation between the Physiotherapy Association of Tunisia and K-Active Systems. 35 medical doctors and physiotherapist from Tunisia and Algeria were educated by the two instructors Siegfried Breitenbach (Germany) and Brahim Broubaker (Tunisia). The high motivated participants ran through the theoretical and practival parts, to use this new therapy for professional sport or their patients in the clinics and hospitals. More courses are already in preparation.

Beside this course there were two presentations in the National Sport Medical Center and in neurological department of the Charle Nicholles hospital. Both departments are very interested in learning soon this new method to improve the quality of their therapy.

The senior therapist of the German national ski jumping team, Sandra Allgäuer, uses for her athlets after her apprenticeship at K-Active Systems the K-Active Tape Classic and the K-Active Tape PreCuts. Overall 35 of 50 team members, from different countries e. g. Norway, Sweden, Poland, Hungery, Italy, Switzerland, Argentina and Germany, took part at this event.

Apart of the professional exchanges of new applications, techniques and extensions of different ranges, a new concept  was elaborated for further courses and workshops, which will be used at K-Active Systems in future.

The agreement contains the transfer of Know-How and the training of the medical team of the German wrestler confederation, as well as the support with the different products in the scope of Kinesiology Taping. Determining for the cooperation was the high quality of apprenticeship and the product portfolio, which was reached from no other supplier else. So it is guaranteed that the top athlets have in the prophylaxis an optimal therapy and the best possible material at hand.

Also the team of instructors of K-Active Systems GmbH will be available for chosen national or international championships, to assist the local medical team in supplying the athlets.

This new method was very interesting for the big amount of participants of this congress. Many questions already could be answered during the day at the boot, but also during the presentation and workshop in the late afternoon. The very well organised and interesting congress finished with a common dinner with the participants, including dance or a visit to the different coffee shops with the typical Tunisia lifestyle.

This event was a cooperation between the producer of the original tape Nitto Denko Japan and our partner from India - VPK Enterprises. This workshop with around 100 participants was the startpoint for the big congress in Amritsar, where over 1000 participants took part.

Manfred Moritz inspired not only the participants of the workshop. Also the participants of the congress, where he made two presentations, were delighted.

Already in January he will go back to India to do the next course in Bombay and will present K-Active therapy at the biggest medical congress in India.

For K-Active Systems it is a big honor to establish the education system in Kinesiology Taping together with VPK Enterprises in India. Once more this is a sign for the high level of this education system.

33 top therapists who are active in different areas of the Belgian top-class sport were trained in the new K-Active tape PreCuts.

The lessons were given at the training area of FC Chelsea. Besides the area for the professionals a second training camp was opened in August 2008 for junior players. Around 140 players from all over Europe want to join the professional team and trained twice a day.

After a long and hard season some of the players had pain and injuries and so 7 players used the K-Active Tape by Nitto Denko.
